Really nothing. We have redone our website and changed our name. We are now VintageDiamondRing.com.Due to ArtDecoDiamonds.com success, we wanted to make our new site more user friendly so you can search our extensive inventory of antique engagement rings, any piece of jewelry from different time periods, educate our consumers on different time periods, different gemstones and our own exclusive diamond inventory. Please remember, like our old site, VintageDiamondRing.com owns all antique engagement rings, antique jewelry and GIA diamonds on our site and does not take any consignment from other dealers! contact us.
ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE JEWELERS BOARD OF TRADE - JBT?
We are members of the Jewelers Board of Trade, or JBT. The Jewelers Board of Trade is the only association providing credit and collection services for the jewelry industry. Suzanne Sachs, part of the SHI group, has been a member for years. Her membership number is 8286.
DO YOU HAVE A RETAIL STORE?
We do not have a storefront, but we frequently meet with clients at our private offices in New York City. CAN I SEE A VIDEO OR MORE PHOTOS OF A RING?
Of course! If you aren’t quite sure about a piece you’re considering, just email us and we’ll send you any additional photos and information you would like. Additionally, if you let us know a piece you’re interested in we can provide you with other similar items from our inventory so that you can compare.
CAN YOU SHIP THE ENGAGEMENT RING TO MY OFFICE/FRIENDS HOUSE ETC.?
We understand that with many of our purchases there needs to be an element of surprise, and we can absolutely ship our products to whatever address you provide. Remember, though, there needs to be someone there to sign for the ring! We recommend against shipping to large companies - wouldn’t it be awful if that ring got misplaced in the mail room? So make sure that you know who will be signing for your package when it arrives - family or a close friend is usually the best option.
IF I SEE A DIAMOND IN A MOUNTING, CAN I BUY THE DIAMOND AND NOT THE MOUNTING?
Of course. If you have your own mounting and buy our diamond, we will set it free of charge.

Any antique diamond engagement ring or piece of diamond jewelry purchased from VintageDiamondRing.com that is shipped to a New York State address will incur New York State sales tax.
DO YOU ACCEPT FOREIGN CREDIT CARDS?
We only accept United States credit cards.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR SIZING?
Usually not, but some orders will have a sizing charge added on.
DO YOU OFFER PRECIOUS AND SEMI PRECIOUS GEMS?
Yes. We also have a vast inventory of emeralds, rubys and sapphires. These all have a GIA or AGL certificate in accordance with the precious gems industry. You will receive the original certificate with your purchase.
DO YOU SELL "CONFLICT DIAMONDS"
We purchase all of our new diamonds from sellers who participate in the Kimberly Certification Process - established in 2003 to prevent diamond sales from financing the conflicts in Africa. Our antique and vintage diamonds are original to their rings and are not associated with modern conflicts.
DO YOU TAKE SPECIAL REQUESTS?
Yes. Please tell us what you want, whether a vintage replica diamond ring, or a modern three stone diamond ring, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

HOW WILL MY ITEM BE SHIPPED?
Antique jewelry and loose GIA certified diamonds are shipped free via UPS or FedEx overnight. All shipments are insured and must be signed for. International orders will be shipped 3 day Fed-Ex International with an additional shipping charge and is fully secure.
I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, WHEN WILL THE ANTIQUE ENGAGEMENT RING OR DIAMOND JEWELRY BE SHIPPED?
Once payment is authorized: - Loose GIA diamonds will typically ship within 1-2 days - Antique engagement rings (which need sizing) will ship within 1-2 days - Art Deco jewelry will ship within 1-2 days - Diamond wedding bands and special orders NOT in stock will typically ship within 2-3 weeks **If you have any deadlines please note this in the "comment" section of VintageDiamondRing.com

It's very easy. First take your cursor and scroll over the heading columns. Specific categories will be shown, and just click on to them. If you want a specific diamond carat size, on the bottom left you may search by carat.
IF I LIVE OVERSEAS, HOW CAN I ORDER AN ITEM?
For overseas purchases we can only accept PayPal, checks, money orders or wire transfers. We do not accept foreign credit cards.
IF I PAY BY CHECK, PAYPAL OR WIRE TRANSFER, HOW DOES THAT WORK?
Simply email or call us at 877.321.DECO (3266) and let us know what item you would like to purchase, how you would like to pay and we will take your initial information over the phone (routing number, bank information, personal information). When it is verified we will contact you to send the actual check to us. Once received and information is verified the item will be shipped.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE?

WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED FROM ME TO PROCESS AN ORDER?
Your name, phone number, billing address, shipping address (for credit card purchases), and email address. In addition, we need a fax with your drivers license or passport. We only use this information to create your account and to process your order. If necessary, we will contact you via email or phone. We also need in an email or fax permission to charge your card the amount of the purchase. What is your return policy?
All purchased diamond items have a 30 day 100% money back guarantee from date of receipt. If you received a GIA diamond or diamond jewelry, and do not like it for any reason, simply call or e-mail us for return shipping instructions. There is no fee or penalty for returning the item. The item must be returned in the same condition it was received. If any sizing, setting, damage or alterations have been done to the diamond or the setting by anyone other than VintageDiamondRing.com the antique engagement ring or diamond jewelry cannot be returned. Any custom made piece of jewelry may not be returned. Once we receive and accept your returned item, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your returned diamond ring, or piece of jewelry, it will be reviewed by our quality assurance department in order to insure there have been no modifications or damage. When returning an item, please place all original packaging in a box, including the appraisal and the diamond certificate.
WHEN USING A CREDIT CARD FOR PAYMENT CAN I SHIP TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS THAN MY BILLING ADDRESS?
Yes, however you must register a non billing address with the bank that issued your credit card. We will call your bank to verify this information.
