What Are The Different Cuts?

Asscher Cut

Baguette

rectangular cut stone with squared corners.

Brilliant Cut

the most common shape of diamonds which has 58 facets.

Cushion cut

also known as "pillow-cut" diamonds have rounded corners and larger facets to increase their brilliance.

Emerald Cut

European cut

very small table, a heavy crown, and great overall depth. This diamond cut was the fore-runner of the modern cut diamond.

Marquis Cut

oval shape gemstone with ends sharpened to a point. The length-to-width ratio is very important and should be in the range of 1.7 to 2.0.

Old Miners Cut

shaped into a high crown with a small table, a round to somewhat rectangular girdle, a deep pavilion and a large faceted culet. They are the earliest form of the modern brilliant cut.

Oval Shape Cut

Princess Cut

Radiant Cut

Pear Shape

rounded on one end with a tapering point on the other, like a teardrop.

Square Cut Shape
