THE BASICS --

Two essential elements of engagement rings are the wonderful artistry of master cutters, and the glorious diamond cuts they used for their one of a kind timeless works of arts. Beautiful diamond shapes, used as center diamonds, include emerald cut, mine cut, old European cut, and in some instances rose cut diamonds. They have less dispersion and brilliance, yet that's what makes them so special. There are also other beautiful diamond shapes including oval cut, pear shape, marquise cut and the classic round cut. Alternatively, these are special in their own right as they have more dispersion and brilliance. All of the various diamond cuts and shapes truly capture each era throughout history. Now with a resurgence of sustainable jewelry, different ring cuts have come back into prominence and are in high demand.
